1 Jul 2005 - St.Vincent and the special Olympics
Today it has been announced that, after the R.W.M's work liasing with the organisers of this years Special Olympics and bot Grand Lodge and the Provincial Grand Lodge, awards of £2,500 & £3,000 has been made to the coffers of this event.
Two events are being sponserd; the Cricket and Power lifting. The Depute Provincial Grand Master will be presenting the medals and prizes to the contenders of these events.
Once again this shows the hard work Lodge St.Vincent does for local charities. This will also raise the profile through publicity for the scottish craft.
